Favorite Three Songs


Toes

This song has a personal meaning to me. I first heard this when I was 5 years old on my way to Hawaii. For the whole plane ride, I listened to this song. I got in trouble by my mom for singing out loud while others were sleeping. This song in my opinion has a great tone and unique beat. This song is definitely a beach song.


Chicken Fried

This song is by far a well-known song by many people. For myself, this song is one of my favorites not because it is well known but because it brings back many memories from when I was a kid. When I was in grade school or middle school I would sit out by the fire with my dad and listen to this song all the time. It reminds me how important my family is. This song is more up tempo as well but has unique lyrics which makes it more popular than there other songs.


My Old Man

As you would probably think this song has a great meaning to myself as well. When this song was released my grandpa was going through chemotherapy for colon cancer. My dad began listening to this song non stop so I began to listen to it as well. This song is by far the most wholesome to my Dad and I because of what my grandpa went through. It is also a slower-tempo song that focuses on the lyrics. All three of these songs have specific meanings to me and that is why they are my favorite songs by Zac Brown Band.
